Current Studio Projects 2012

Currently Tim is busy painting in the studio with new private art commissions on the easel or in pre production planning. Works will include studies of grouse and partridge in the field and a number of new works of parrots and exotic bird species in their rainforest habitat.

Commissioning a painting

The process of commissioning a picture is simple.  You talk to Tim about your idea, the medium you prefer and the budget. As soon as we are agreed on these, Tim may work up some preliminary sketches.  From those drawings, you will select one that you like, or that is closest to what you like, which may mean incorporating a feature from one sketch into the body of another.   From that point onwards, Tim will start work on the commission.  The time you have to wait varies from project to project and Tim will try to give you an approximate time about this.  Closer to the time of finishing, Tim will contact you about any framing and delivery arrangements.
